Hi, I am Buddhini.... I make my living as a freelance designer / TV producer. But within me I am a green tea lover, movie maniac and an art addict!!!  Designing became a part of my life since 2005, when I came to know about digital scrapbooking. And now, I am more fascinated about creating ATCs, collages and trying my hands on mixed media art.

When I was young I always wanted to become a performing artist. I was more into dancing, music and theatre activities. Keeping that in mind I graduated from University of Delhi in Indian classical music, took dance and drama lessons, did daily rehearsals, voice trainings etc. But my destiny didn't allow me to build my career as a performing artist... instead at the end I became a TV journalist. I got a post graduation on media and mass communication, and for 8 years I worked as a full time television producer with few media organizations. My profession took me to different places and gave me wonderful opportunities and endless experiences behind the camera as a video story teller.

But my interest towards arts and crafts was always there. I wanted a change in my life... to do something what I like. So, I decided to work on my own and founded my small company Watermelon Creatives. Now, I spend my day mainly on graphic, print and video documentary projects. And by night I am busy with creating art and craft pieces!!!! I am a mother of a 5 year old little princess and live with my family in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
